For a while she was dissolving... I am so relieved to see her quietly emerge. I think this painting has a brighter future.

My birthday wish
I wanted to paint 48 small paintings in honor of each year of my life leading up to my birthday. Truth is: I've grown beyond that. I just turned 49... in Paris. Continuing the celebration of my growth through all the perils of my age, like divorce, memories, financial challenges, I journey from birthday to birthday. Now 50 and a new stranger in Miami!
