Bride and Muse
6 x 6 inches
acrylic paint on wood
It's not easy being married. It takes a ton of work, flexibility, forgiveness, trust, love, faith and imagination. I really believe the only reason to do it is to share the work raising children and also combine the benefits and costs of health care. That's the 'for sickness and in health" line. And there are all sorts of gray areas around the word "sickness". As far as the kids, I know several couples who have raised great kids together without being married.
SO, my advice, think twice. Yet all great adventures are undertaken with a lack of complete knowledge of the possible outcomes. That's just the way it is.... a long road.

When I had my children I found out who I was meant to be. For a little while.
